Kate is an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. She has spent many years learning about and teaching others the benefits of healing nutrition. She graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition where she learned not only about the healing power of food, but how every aspect of our lives affects our health. She will go in depth with your diet and nutrition, and will also take into account your sleep, exercise and stress.
It’s a powerful thing when you can break out of your “stuck” mindset, to the realization that you actually do control your health – mentally, emotionally, and physically. Kate uses a lifestyle approach and through elimination diets can identify what foods you can and can’t tolerate and what foods will support your gut in truly healing. Because it all starts in the gut. She has been through this with her own family, and by changing their diet and adding in some super nourishing foods, they’ve changed the course of their lifelong health.
Kate will listen to your concerns and needs, and will help you create a plan that you can stick to, that will allow you to live a healthier life, full of energy and joy. She knows that each person is unique, and she will build a program to fit your needs.
She lives in Oregon City with her husband, two daughters and dog. They love being outside, gardening, walking, riding bikes, hiking and spending time with family and friends. Kate has always been active, as a collegiate volleyball player at Oregon State, and now through coaching youth volleyball, running, lifting, doing yoga, and anything else to move her body.
Kate is so passionate about the work she does. She truly believes that you can have control over your wellness, and that finding a nutritious diet is only part of the journey. It can seem overwhelming to take that first step toward better health, but she will help you break it down into manageable pieces to create lasting habits.
